Mindfulness Among the Trees
Description of workshop:
In this mindfulness workshop in the forest, you will have an opportunity to gather together in community to learn key mindfulness principles relating to our activities. Then, participants will partake in a walking meditation experience followed by a sit-spot contemplation. Sit-spot meditation involves drinking in an immediate environment through the senses and finding pleasure in what is. Finally, participants will return as a group to share and reflect. Come with an open heart, open mind, and a willingness to reflect and enjoy the awe-striking simplicity and beauty in nature and presence combined. Cannot wait to see you there!
Jessie is a mindfulness facilitator, Reiki practitioner and empowerment leader. She supports individuals to unplug from autopilot and reconnect to themselves through one-on-one treatments, workshops and retreats. Her work impacts those who are looking to restore their wellness and feel themselves again. Through a heart-centered and compassionate approach, Jessie guides you at your own pace and meets you where you are, moving beyond the physical to provide integration of body, mind and soul. She resides in Rossland, BC, on the traditional and unceded lands of the Sinixt and Ktunaxa.
