Description of workshop:
Botanical sketches: a sensory forest walk and deep observation practice.
When we move through space and time with awareness we are able to access a deeper communication with the natural world. I invite you to take this time to engage with the forest and yourself.
This is a multifaceted plant walk – covering the basic who’s who of our local plant community, honing our powers of observation and drawing skills, and getting a forest bath!
Bring a drawing pad or notebook and pencils – plus other items of personal comfort – eg. walking poles, water, hat…
We will be accessing the trail system at For-rest which involves some steep slopes and uneven footing.
