SVYCC is seeking innovative, responsible, community oriented individuals who are interested in volunteering at the centre. We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities in a variety of settings:
SVYCC Music Studio. . . is SVYCC’s fully equipped space for “all things music”. This facility is a great venue for small house concerts, music lessons, band rehearsals and collaboration among fellow music lovers. The studio is a volunteer run facility so we need YOU! If you are a musician, recording engineer, music instructor, or you just love music, consider volunteering your time to help make this resource more readily available to our community. Sk8 Bowl …
The Salmo Skate Bowl is an awesome place for skateboarders and spectators alike.
Do you love to skateboard or would you like to learn more about skateboarding? Consider volunteering a couple of hours of your time each week to help keep the sk8 Bowl open.
Youth Drop In Centre . . .
Be involved in planning and facilitating regular programs, or help plan and run a new program.
Also help out with our Youth Advisory Committee (YAC)
If you are a youth who wants to help work behind the scenes to continue to offer services to youth in our community, consider volunteering or this committee.
