Salmo Valley Youth & Community Centre:

A community centre where people belong and are valued.

The Salmo Valley Youth & Community Centre (SVYCC) is a dedicated not-for-profit organization that thrives on the generosity
of donations and grants to sustain its operations. Our mission is to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where
youth and community members of all ages feel valued and a strong sense of belonging. At SVYCC, we believe in the power of
community and the importance of providing a safe and supportive space for everyone.

We offer a variety of programs specifically designed for tweens and youth, aiming to support their growth, development, and wellbeing. From educational workshops to recreational activities, our programs are crafted to engage, inspire, and empower young individuals. By participating in our
initiatives, youth can build meaningful connections, develop new skills, and gain confidence in a nurturing community setting.

Your support is crucial in helping us continue our work and expand our reach. Together, we can create a vibrant, inclusive community
where every member knows they are valued and has a place to belong.

SVYCC offers a number of ongoing and special programs that benefit the our community and its youth! These programs address a wide variety of interests as well as provide opportunities for adults and youth to “try out” new things.  Please check this section of the website often to get the scoop on all of our youth focused programming details.
